A Day in the Life

Dear L,

All I could think throughout your last post was “I wish she was also wearing the outfit from Clueless”. You will have to make up for missing that opportunity đŸ˜›

While you are busy dealing with uni stress, I am busy trying to be busy when I’m not. I thought this break would be nice, but it turns out that I hate not being stressed out of my mind and never sleeping. Who could’ve guessed? (You actually. Pretty sure you told me this years ago).

So yesterday was another fairly uneventful day where I filled the time with eating, drinking tea, sleeping, running, cleaning, and watching Top Model. Mainly Top Model. (I’m not yet up to date but Ivy just got kicked off and I am FURIOUS. What does “she was eighties in a bad way” even mean?! There is no such thing as eighties in a bad way?!)

Without further ado, here are some random things which I did/saw/ate yesterday, because what fun is being a bit bored if you don’t get to share it?

A favourite Chopin Nocturne finally gets some playing time.

Cleaning my room = getting distracted in my closet and spending over an hour reorganising my shoe collection

Apparently it is a publication requirement that fashion book covers contain at least one spot of pink or purple. Another reorganisation preoccupation.

Having had such a strenuous day, it is no surprise that I was ravenous by the time dinner arrived. These tomatoes were grilled and added to some Mung Bean and Edemame 'Pasta' which, although delicious, looks as appealing as mock, vegan, low-carb pasta sounds.

These tomatoes were grilled and added to some Mung Bean and Edemame ‘Pasta’ which, although delicious, looks as appealing as mock, vegan, low-carb pasta sounds. So I just took a photo of the tomatoes.

In summary, I hope I have provided you with a fresh appreciation of uni life. I may not last much longer here. If I follow through on my current plan to run away with the circus, I promise to send you an invite to my debut. Thinking my weird double joints may prove advantageous in my pursuit of a career in contortion.

Love B

xx
