Wearable Ideas
Dear L,
What a day! I have to begin by apologising for the over-one-hundred text messages I sent you regarding the torrent of Met Gala 2015 photos which have flooded my . . . everything. I think I could boil it down to the fact that Hailee Steinfeld, Zendaya, and Imogen Poots were flawless.
Announcements and Cold Days
Dear B,
Since reading the ever stunning letter by “P”, I have visited three art galleries in an attempt to find contemporary artist I love more then the ones she showed us (this of course did not succeed) so it is with great pleasure that I announce that “P” will be a monthly feature on the blog, to share her amazing insights, in what we will call a “Spoonful of Sugar” to sweeten the Tea Club up that little bit more.
As I write this, Sydney is currently having its only sunny day, it was seems like a century. Therefore, my feet are in the grass and my hair is in the sunshine in the attempt to soak it all in before it leaves me once again.
However, as I bathe in sunshine, I am still wearily that winter is approaching, and therefore a fashion post was believed to be necessarily.
A Spoonful of Sugar: Tea for Three?
Dear B and L,
As you two reside in the cosiness of civilisation and urbanisation, I write to you very grateful to be invited on this once only rendezvous and send you bunches of flowers. However, I must also bring you to you a matter that is quite close to my heart and one that has landed me in a predicament, that of being the destiny of my entire existence. Read More
London vs New York Edition (The Struggle is Real)
In the next few weeks I have a decision to make. I can either spend the next four years in London Town, or New York City.
I know, first world problems, right? But seeing as that’s the choice, I think I’m allowed to fret over the choice.
Beachy Mad
Dear B,
Its officially Autumn. I am wearing jeans, you are cleaning your wardrobe. Yet, as my head is swirling around with assignment after assignment and summer becomes but a dim memory (yes I am one for the dramatics), I thought I would take a trip down memory lane and mentally revisit my Top 5 favourtie Sydney Beaches. A Day in the Life
Dear L,
All I could think throughout your last post was “I wish she was also wearing the outfit from Clueless”. You will have to make up for missing that opportunity 😛
While you are busy dealing with uni stress, I am busy trying to be busy when I’m not. I thought this break would be nice, but it turns out that I hate not being stressed out of my mind and never sleeping. Who could’ve guessed? (You actually. Pretty sure you told me this years ago). Read More
What to Do When You Have No Clue
Oscars vs London Fashion Week
Dear L,
I have to be upfront and honest. I’m really angry at you.
How dare you
look like such a model in your perfect pair of denim shorts?! I thought we were blogging because we were both too short to walk the catwalk, but maybe that’s all been in my head and you’re actually 5 ” 10.
Speaking of catwalks and despondency, two of my favourite things happened in the month that has been (aside from our awesome express week), London Fashion Week and The Academy Awards. As such, I thought that perhaps I could mish-mash them together in my own “B’s Best of the Best Awards”. You may have noticed that I chose alliteration over descriptiveness there, and so I shall briefly explain the premise before launching in: London Fashion Week’s best designers’ best looks (that’s a mouthful, sorry), and the corresponding movie outfits that they remind me of. Full disclosure, this could be a long post. Go make a cup of tea.
The Quest for the Perfect Pair of Denim Shorts Part 2
Dear B,
